“I have been lucky in life to travel extensively throughout Europe and experience the beauty it has to offer,” says Thomas. “It’s such a diverse continent, which houses some of the most important and historic landmarks and works of art in the entire world.”

“In addition to this there are unmatched diverse landscapes, from the wine regions in Eastern Europe, to the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean and the stunning fjords of Scandinavia.”

One of Thomas’ favourite memories as a professional travel advisor comes from a European holiday he booked that was guaranteed to be unforgettable.

"I had the privilege of assisting a client in orchestrating a wedding proposal for when he and his girlfriend travelled the continent. It is an amazing feeling to be able to connect with people through travel and create these unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. And of course she said yes!"

As well as being an expert on all things Europe, Thomas also specialises in small group travel, solo journeys and wildlife adventures. In fact, Thomas’ personal travel highlight comes from an up close wildlife encounter he enjoyed in Africa.

“There was one day in Lake Nakuru National Park when we were enjoying a very relaxed coffee break,” says Thomas. “Suddenly our safari Jeep driver received a phone call regarding a white rhino and her newborn calf only a kilometre away. Low and behold, after a speedy drive we were within arm’s reach of the mother and her new born. I will never forget this moment.”

Africa is Thomas’ single favourite travel destination, an impressive testimony from someone who has travelled so extensively.

“I absolutely love Africa, and if you travel there you will understand why. It caters to absolutely everyone. Stunning beaches, delicious food, rich and diverse culture, amazing wine and of course the opportunity to admire the wildlife in their natural habitats. It is simply unbeatable.”
