Christine is an outstanding & well-accomplished travel advisor. She has a way of really getting to know you and getting to the bottom of your travel personal aspirations to create bespoke itineraries that capture memories that will last a lifetime.
With so many wonderful, worldly experiences under her belt, which place does she class as a must-see destination? "India, it changed me somewhat inside," she says. "Their way of life, the Hindu religion, there is something breathtakingly beautiful behind all the madness."
It's evident this travel advisor has a big heart and if you didn't gather that already, it's further demonstrated by her involvement in the Children First Foundation and the Nicholas Timms Foundation. If you're looking to embark on a meaningful, volunteer holiday, Christine is the perfect person to speak to.
Christine is also an expert in cruising. She says the sheer ease of travelling that cruising provides makes it a very appealing way to explore. "There is such a huge variety of ships, and many different styles of cruising, across so many different destinations," she says. "If you haven't yet experienced a cruise holiday, you should - it is fascinating and exciting."
If you're seeking some holiday inspiration, there's a lot more where that came from. Speak to her about your next getaway, be it a relaxing flop-and-drop beach getaway or an adrenalin-packed, outdoor adventure.
You might just leave your appointment with Christine feeling as though you've not only finalised a holiday, but made a new friend.

**Client response to the Editor of The Age Traveller** Your column in the Age Traveller is always a highlight for me. I enjoy your honest discussion of a topic where both sides of the issue are presented without bias. But I'm going to get emotional about your latest column! We have a wonderful Travel Agent (Christine Bottrell of Travel Associates Canterbury) who has saved us so much time and anxiety as well as given us some great advice and great experiences. I'll never thank her enough for our trip to New Zealand when we were there when the Canterbury earthquake cut off Christchurch which was to be our final stop. She arranged alternative accommodation in our previous Auckland hotel which was an upgrade and worked out cheaper than the previous stay, all changes to our flights and was a wonderful support. And sorted out our Insurance claim which came through without a hitch. This dealing with insurance can be another plus for using an agent. And this isn't the only time she has stepped into helping us - even when our daughter had booked her own accomodation and transport to Paris and needed to change her plans in a day because of the Paris bombings, Christine sent her supportive and informative emails on her weekend off. My list of times she has helped all our family members goes on and on....... We do some of our bookings by email, but would much prefer to go through Christine. She has become a very special friend and advisor for us all. Again, our thanks for a terrific column.
