Melanie has visited more than 30 countries and says Germany would have to be one of her favourite places. “I just have so many great memories of living here,” she says. “I remember moving into a little apartment and waking up to snow falling outside and a deer running past – it was one of those moments.”

If you’re in Germany around Christmas time, Melanie says you must experience the Christmas markets. “It’s a great chance to try some local authentic food, in a really beautiful setting. Enjoy a Kransky, beer, and pretzel for me!”

"I am a member on the Disney website which really benefits my clients. I can use it to plan and book special restaurants within Disneyland. Many people don't realise you can do this, and unfortunately, it means they miss out on the chance to experience some really magical places!"

If Melanie had to share one Disneyland tip with everyone she says it would be to visit the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney at Anaheim’s Disneyland. "There is live music every night and delicious Louisiana-style food," she says. "Sit and enjoy the amazing atmosphere – order the gumbo!"
