There aren’t many people who can give you first-hand travel tips on Antarctica, Syria and Peru, but these countries are just the beginning of Rhiannon’s impressive repertoire of travel experience.
A passport packed with stamps and a decade of industry experience are not the only things that ensure Rhiannon is an exceptional travel advisor – she finds joy in the day-to-day details of making travel dreams come true.
“I've been in this job for 11 years and I can not think of doing anything else,” says Rhiannon. “Learning new things about different countries means the work day is never boring.”
Of course, Rhiannon has some incredible travel tales of her own, starting with her travels to Japan, the first destination she explored solo. Rhiannon loved the endearing locals and fascinating culture so much that she stayed and worked in Japan for over a year.
“Living and traveling in Japan made me realise that the world isn't scary as a single traveler,” says Rhiannon. “I was stronger than I realised, I could handle getting lost in a non English speaking country. Any travel I do makes me feel alive, makes me feel like I'm a better person and I'm more aware of the world and how many good people there are on the planet.”
This beautiful ethos inspires Rhiannon to design truly unforgettable adventures for her clients, enhanced by her stockpile of useful travel tips. Her specialties range from small group travel to Antarctic adventures, but Rhiannon has expertise to offer from all corners of the globe.
“In South America it's worth paying extra for a 4-star hotel,” advises Rhiannon, “You get a bottle of water each day in your room and air conditioning! Not sleeping at night due to the heat can make the next day of sightseeing feel exhausting instead of exhilarating. Spend a little bit more to be comfortable.”
Planning a little Bali getaway? Rhiannon’s got the goss.
“North of Denpasar you’ll find Lovina, which you should definitely include in your itinerary for a few days. I was so surprised how relaxing the town was and how many amazing snorkelling areas there were. The visibility was much better than at Lembongan Island near Kuta.”
How about a Euro trip? Once again, Rhiannon has tips to improve your holiday.
“City passes are definitely worth buying before you travel. They are package prices that give you flexibility on what to see and do and can generally help you skip the long lines to places such as Vatican City and the Louvre. Worth every penny!”
Whether it’s finding the best restaurant in Peru, wandering the back streets of Europe or exploring the joys of your own back yard, Rhiannon would be thrilled to help you plan your escape.
“Even the little trips interstate are lovely to book,” says Rhiannon. “People may be visiting family, traveling for the first time or off on a bucket list adventure – every client’s trip has a story and it is my pleasure to hear them all.”
