Living in such close proximity to Europe, Kristy was able to travel throughout the continent, and counts Barcelona as one of her favourite destinations. She lists the city’s pulsating vibe, funky beach bars and delicious foods as some of her favourite memories. “The markets have an amazing array of delicious treats,” she says.

Some of her other most memorable experiences include a stay at the ornate Emirates Palace, touring the ancient pyramids in Egypt and visiting the Terracotta Warriors and Great Wall of China.

Today, with close to 15 years’ experience in the travel industry and having experienced much of the world herself, Kristy has added another specialty to her list of travel consultant accomplishments – that as a family travel expert. Familiar with the endurance required when it comes to travelling with children, Kristy is able to relate it back to her own family experience.

Describing one client’s trip, Kristy recalled how she helped organise the travel plans for a couple travelling to India to collect their new born surrogate children. Kristy’s expertise with such arrangements provided much needed support to the family – just another reason why she loves the work she does.
