From an awe-inspiring visit to Machu Picchu to the thrill of being up close with wildlife on her first African safari, Kate is a virtual encyclopaedia of travel tales. She recalls the adrenaline rush of a surprise helicopter trip under the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco; cycling between wineries in Carlifonia’s Sonoma Valley; the serenity of snorkelling in the clear waters of Fiji’s Northern Yasawa Islands; and savouring the sublime indulgence of being served caviar and champagne in the pool on board a Seabourn cruise.

But her travels have also taken her to iconic locations like the Taj Mahal and even swimming in Loch Ness. Then there were the visits to historic sites like Culloden Moor in Scotland, where she was moved by the deep sense of history and culture.

Relishing the challenge of piecing together perfect itineraries for other people, one of Kate's standout moments as a travel advisor was organising a special birthday trip to Italy for a client and her three daughters. This meticulously planned itinerary included Rome, Florence, Venice, Cinque Terre, and Lake Como. Highlights of the trip featured a surprise reunion with a special friend in Florence, hiking between the villages of Cinque Terre, and a luxurious stay at Lake Como, George Clooney-style. The family found it such an extraordinary experience that Kate has since replicated this itinerary for other clients, always to rave reviews.

One of Kate’s specialities is planning seamless UK self-drive tours and European adventures for her clients.

"I love nothing more than putting a 6-week itinerary together – it's like assembling a jigsaw puzzle, adding a cruise here, car hire there, and topping it off with incredible accommodation, day tours and shows,’ she says.
