For Darcy, travel is about more than ticking off destinations; it's about forging connections, embracing culture, and venturing beyond one's comfort zone. Like hiking Mt. Bromo in Indonesia, where he spent the night in a quaint farming village, dining with a local host family, and conversing with the village chief before embarking on a thrilling hike over the outer crater rim and scaling Mt. Bromo's summit.  Another highlight was a canyoneering experience in the jungles of Costa Rica, where Darcy and his small tour group descended waterfalls, ziplined into valleys, and waded through rivers.

Specialising in small group adventure travel, Darcy thrives on the camaraderie of exploration, where every journey is a testament to the power of community and discovery. Darcy's expertise doesn't stop there. As a former chef with a passion for food and wine, he seamlessly integrates culinary delights into his itineraries. “I love being a travel advisor because it allows me to connect with people and talk about the best thing in the world, travel! I love being able to put together dream itineraries with one-of-a-kind experiences tailored to my clients,” he says.

An example of his dedication to his client’s interests was orchestrating a three-month European holiday for a pastry chef. Crafting an itinerary cantered on a pastry scholarship in Munich, the journey began in the United Kingdom, continued with a visit to Belgium's Sourdough Museum, and on to Munich for the scholarship. Post-scholarship, an epic European tour culminated in Paris for chocolate-making classes. Recognising his adept planning, Darcy was called upon once again the following year when his client was called on a three-month pastry course in Vegas. Seamlessly transitioning to the US, the client embarked on a cross-country tour followed by a comprehensive exploration of Canada. Darcy meticulously organised all aspects, from air travel to foodie experiences, ensuring another seamless and unforgettable adventure.
