Jacqui has decades of experience and many accreditations, including a Bachelor of Arts in Leisure, Diploma of Management and Certificate III in Tourism, so you can trust she’s the best person for the job wherever it is you wish to go.

“After over 24 years as a travel advisor I have sent people to a lot of places, so I love getting my hands on new and interesting itineraries and helping people with their bucket list destinations,” she says.

Of course, Jacqui doesn’t mind a holiday herself and has ticked off over 35 countries from Zambia and Thailand to Austria and Barbados. “I recently returned from Vietnam and Cambodia, including Ha Long Bay for an overnight cruise on a luxury junk, and Lan Ha Bay. Overnight there are about 30 boats at Lan Ha Bay, rather than 300 in Ha Long Bay, so I highly recommend it for beautiful scenery without the crowds.”

New York City is her favourite destination because “there’s always something new to explore and the vibrancy of the city is unparalleled”. “While in NYC, take a helicopter ride over the city - it’s a not to be missed experience and a real exciting rush. The views are amazing and you get great glimpses of the Statue of Liberty and a real perspective of the city and surrounds.”

Jacqui also has two hot tips for Venice, in Italy. “Stay right on the canals if you can. It’s really lovely to relax out on your deck or balcony and watch the world go by your doorstep. Also, catch a water taxi from the airport right to your door. It is more expensive but it’s so convenient, with the added bonus of arriving in style and getting a canal tour en route.”

And if you’re considering travelling with teenagers, Jacqui is the perfect person to speak to. “I loved travelling with my husband and two teenagers on a round the world trip last year. It was amazing to share my love of travel and the world with my family, to see them embrace new cultures and countries and develop the same love for travel that I have.”
