She also has a knack for planning holidays around sporting events.

With over nine years’ experience as a travel consultant, Amanda is professional and she takes pride in perfecting every booking. If she had to pick one place to go back to, it would be New York. “It is such a vibrant city. Whether you are sitting in a cafe people-watching, walking the streets of the Upper West Side or travelling by boat to the Statue of Liberty, there are just so many options for every type of traveller.”

Another favourite memory for Amanda is visiting Lake Louise in Canada for the very first time. “We were at dinner in the hotel restaurant with a window seat overlooking the lake, and next thing snow started to fall. It was so amazing to see, as we have nothing like that at home.”
