Another cherished memory is a journey on the Rocky Mountaineer in Canada during April, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. “It was like a living postcard and travelling in the shoulder season meant fewer crowds so we could properly soak it all in.”

“Travel is a life changing experience, it honestly gives you a new perspective on life, helps you to appreciate what you have and the people we meet,” she says.

One of her standout moments was organising a 35-night Pacific cruise to celebrate a client's special birthday. What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?
Recently I curated a beautiful slow-paced trip to Europe which included an Switzerland train trip to showcase the stunning Swiss alps heading into winter. Switzerland's natural beauty is like no other!
What is your number one travel tip?
I always say to my clients to pick a region, and slow it down. Take the time to get to know the real culture of a city or destination - if you try to do too much too quickly, you'll just want to go back.
What are your favourite destinations and why?
I love Canda for the picturesque Rockies - it is a great country for an active, self-driving holiday. I love Sri Lanka for its diversity, beautiful people, wildlife, food and beaches, and I love Europe as a destination to experience all aspects of travel.
How do you go above and beyond for your clients?
No itinerary is the same as another, so I love to spend time chatting to my clients to get to know exactly the experience they are looking for. I also always check in with my clients once after their long haul flights to ensure they've arrived comfortably, along with their luggage.
