With an extraordinary 30 year career in the travel industry, Antoinette Savery’s enthusiasm for exploration combined with her exceptional organisational skills and unwavering dedication has earned her loyal clients that span generations.

Having embarked on many a remarkable adventure across the globe, the common thread in Antoinette's travels has been to experience the culture and uncover the local flavour of every place she visits.

“I love to explore destinations by walking, travelling in small groups and utilising local transport that offers an opportunity to meet locals and learn aspects of the language, cultural heritage, and cuisine, wherever I go,” she says.

Antoinette has many fond memories of her travels, from the camaraderie of walking a 110 kms section of the Camino Frances, from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela, in Spain to discovering Italy's Cinque Terre, where limited vehicle access led to an immersive exploration of its pastel houses, fishing villages, and vineyards by foot, train, and boat.

In Nepal, she witnessed sunrise from Nagarkot Hilltop, a village at the rim of the Kathmandu Valley, beholding snow-kissed peaks and even glimpsing an illuminated Mount Everest. Then walking through several villages on to Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in search of prized King Curd made from buffalo milk and flavoured with Nepalese honey, which was happily shared with locals.

A versatile travel advisor who infuses her extensive firsthand recommendations and expert advice with each client’s unique travel style to craft once-in-a-lifetime journeys, Antionette relishes the challenge of piecing together intricate tailor-made itineraries that blend rail journeys, cruises, tours, car hire and more.

“I find it satisfying to research and pull all the pieces together to create the perfect holiday for my clients and always strive to incorporate hidden gems in unique locations and one-of-a-kind experiences such cooking classes, wine tours, cruising, special attractions and spa retreats, ensuring there is plenty of time to immerse into the local culture,” says Antionette.
