Story Bridge Climb

Standing 72 metres tall, the Story Bridge is the perfect place from where to take in the stunning city views – but first you have to reach the top! With Story Bridge Adventure Climb, you will be able to climb your way up the bridge’s massive steal structure, all the way to the top of the gargantuan pylons. If you’re really feeling adventurous, your Story Bridge Adventure can even include an Abseil experience. Scale down the edge of the massive bridge pylon as you take in the beautiful city views.

Brisbane Botanic Gardens and Planetarium
Located at the base of Brisbane’s tallest mountain, Mt. Coot-Tha, the Botanic Gardens features over 50 hectares of picturesque parklands, gardens and green spaces. Full of fascinating bird and plant life, the easy to navigate foot-paths lead visitors through the placid park settings which include a peaceful Japanese Garden and Bonsai House, an Australian Rainforest, a lagoon and bamboo grove and many other idyllic settings. Two of the most popular landmarks in the gardens are the tropical dome, a fascinating green-house habitat full of exotic plants and trees and the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium. With its state-of-the-art Cosmic Skydome Theatre, the planetarium offers brilliant shows and astronomical viewings. The planetarium also features special exhibits related to the history of space travel.
Mt. Coot-Tha Lookout
From the Brisbane Botanical Gardens, continue up the winding scenic road which leads to Brisbane’s most popular lookout. From the top of Mt. Coot-Tha, the brilliant panoramic view of Brisbane City and the entire coastline can be enjoyed. The lookout area features a café and a fine dining restaurant as well as inviting green spaces perfectly situated for a picnic.
Moreton Island
The world’s third largest sand island, this nature refuge and national park is a popular destination for a daytrip or weekend getaway. Popular activities on the island include snorkelling and diving, hiking and camping, four-wheel driving, fishing and the always popular and heart racing activity known as sand tobogganing. The ferry from the mainland takes just over one hour and visitors may take their own four wheel drive vehicle however a permit is required.
