When the ceiling of cruising luxury has been reached, Seabourn manages to breach it. The award-winning cruise line is bringing a new, sumptuous menu to its fleet with what appears to be a heaven-blessed collaboration with American chef, Thomas Keller.
The gourmet menu of new dishes – first course, main course and dessert – will feature across multiple dining venues on board Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest.
“(Keller's) menus confirm that the partnership is going to elevate our already award-winning cuisine, and we are thrilled that Seabourn guests are now able to experience the masterful culinary styles of Chef Keller,” Seabourn President Richard Meadows said.
Seabourn is clearly on board not only with Keller's cooking, but also his way of life. The cruise line will pay homage to Keller's childhood with themed nights incorporating family-style meals in a shared-dining setting.
There will also be signature Keller meals served at Patio Grill, while The Restaurant will feature his French-American style on certain evenings.
Guests can look forward to tasting the below creations:
- Terrine of Moularde Duck Foie Gras (first course)
- Sonoma Duck Breast “Poele” (main course)
- Champagne and Granny Smith Apple Trifle (dessert)
Following the release of Keller's menus, Seabourn will be launching a new exclusive restaurant in May this year on Seabourn Quest, before adding it to the surplus offerings on the rest of the fleet.
This includes Seabourn Encore, which is coming to Australia in January, 2017.
