Further south, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts also offer kilometres of easy walking.
Explore the rainforest:
While you’re in Port Douglas, spend a day in the Daintree Rainforest. The Daintree is the oldest living rainforest on earth and is home to the Eastern Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people. Take a dip in the crystal clear waters of Mossman River or hike around this amazing World Heritage-listed site.
