For many, Fiji is a picture-perfect island escape, complete with sandy beaches edged by swaying palms and crystal clear waters. Three Travel Associates advisors share their experiences at three very different, but equally luxurious Fiji resorts.
Nanuku Auberge Resort
When you’re greeted with a welcome message made from white pebbles at the bottom of your private pool, you know it’s going to be a special experience. Our stay at Nanuku was full of personal touches like this, from authentic Fijian hospitality from our personal Villa Buddy (butler), to the warrior welcome song and dance.
I was blown away with the activities on offer too, including coral planting, a cultural night and traditional kava ceremony, jet skiing, yoga, massages, cooking classes and craft workshops. We enjoyed private beach dining, gourmet picnics, water sports and snorkelling galore. Nanuku really is heaven on earth.

Royal Davui Island Resort
Royal Davui is more than just an eco-resort, it’s a beautiful private island completely surrounded by amazing snorkelling and diving opportunities where you can hand feed reef sharks and spot turtles from your deck. As an adult-only destination, you are treated to complete privacy in secluded villas, each of which has its own free-form plunge pool. At the end of the day everyone gathers in the dining and bar area, which is the heart of the island, and serves mostly organic and locally produced food.
With friendly staff in a picturesque setting, Royal Davui Island Resort leaves nothing else to do but kick back and relax.

Kokomo Island
Arriving at Kokomo by seaplane was the first of many wow experiences on this trip! After a welcome song and dance, and a lunch served by butlers in our incredible six bedroom residence, it was a holiday full of delightful surprises. We snorkelled with some of the most amazing varieties of coral, fish, turtles and lobsters, were treated to a 90-minute massage, and myriad intimate dining experiences – many of which include produce grown in the chef’s kitchen garden right on the island. Kokomo offers the ultimate in luxury, attentive hospitality and amazing experiences.
Somewhere I definitely want to come back to one day.
