According to One&Only, the elegant interiors, design elements and landscape architecture were developed by the same award-winning Australian designers that introduced the world to the luxury brand’s famous properties in the Maldives and Dubai, most notably Palm Island.
Having been reconfigured to suit such luxury accommodation, the Hayman Island resort has undergone a complete transformation. The company states, “One&Only Hayman Island will offer reimagined resort living with beautifully appointed guest rooms, villas and penthouses. Located in three distinct areas of the resort, each accommodation will offer a different ambiance, each designed to take advantage of the breathtaking views and shades of teal and indigo of the ocean and natural surroundings.” The penthouse residences will be available in one, two and three bedroom layouts and will be decorated in modern, neutral colours for an ambiance in keeping with the property’s chic, yet understated elegance.
More Than Just Skin Deep
The Hayman Island resort has been transformed into an island oasis. Set against the backdrop of its very own two kilometre long white sand beach, the hideaway will feature enticing pool areas complete with private cabanas, plush day beds and cushy lounge chairs. Families and couples alike should find ample space for fun and relaxation. The resort will feature both an adult’s only pool as well as the brand new ‘Aquazure Pool,’ a “comprehensive experience for families” that will include its own cabanas.
